Post Hangar Terms of Use

Applies to the Post Hangar app for iPhone and Mac. Last updated 26 September 2026.

These terms are an agreement between you and HC2 Creations LLC, an Arizona limited liability company ("we", "us"), about your use of Post Hangar. By using the app you accept them. How we handle your data is in the Post Hangar Privacy Policy.

What Post Hangar does

Post Hangar is a creator publishing tool. You put a video into a project, write the version each platform needs, and schedule it. It publishes in two ways:

• Reminder publishing. At the scheduled time your device reminds you, hands you the file and puts the caption on your clipboard. You make the post yourself. Post Hangar does not post for you in this mode.
• Automatic publishing, where available. If you connect an account on a supported platform, we publish the post you scheduled to that account on your behalf, at the time you chose.

Your account

You must be at least 13, and old enough to use each platform you post to under that platform's own rules. Keep your sign-in secure; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Free trials are one per person.

Your content

You own what you create and upload. You give us permission to store, copy, process and transmit it only as needed to run the app for you: syncing it between your devices, and delivering it to the platforms you tell us to post to. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in routine backups until they expire.

You are responsible for having the rights to what you post, and for following the rules of each platform, including their disclosure rules for paid or branded content and audience settings such as YouTube's made-for-kids designation.

Other platforms

When you post to another platform, that platform's terms apply to you and to what you post there. In particular, by connecting a YouTube channel you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. TikTok, Instagram and Facebook are governed by their own terms. Post Hangar is not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube, Google, TikTok, Meta or Apple. Platforms can change or withdraw the features Post Hangar relies on, reject or remove a post, or end a connection; when that happens we will tell you the platform's reason if it gives one, and fall back to reminder publishing where we can.

Subscriptions

• Post Hangar is sold as a subscription through the Apple App Store. Prices and billing periods are shown in the app before you buy.
• Payment is charged to your Apple account when you confirm the purchase, or when a free trial ends.
• A subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple account's subscription settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

Using it fairly

Do not use Post Hangar to post anything unlawful, to spam, to impersonate anyone, to break a platform's rules, or to get around our or a platform's limits. Do not try to break into, disrupt, or reverse engineer the service. We may suspend an account that does.

Reliability

We work hard to get every post out on time and to warn you early when something will stop it. But reminders depend on your device being on, the app being installed and notifications being allowed, and automatic publishing depends on the platforms. We cannot guarantee that every post will go out at exactly the time you chose.

Ending your use

You can stop using Post Hangar and delete your account at any time from inside the app. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription; cancel it through Apple.

No warranty

The app is provided as it is and as available, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, HC2 Creations LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including lost revenue, audience or opportunities from a post that did not go out, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for Post Hangar in the 12 months before the claim.

Apple

These terms are between you and HC2 Creations LLC, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Post Hangar or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it, and is not responsible for any claim relating to it, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, or intellectual property claims. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, and any dispute will be heard in the courts of Maricopa County, Arizona, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it there.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with it, and material changes are shown in the app before they take effect.
