HC2 Creations is a software studio of one. We build tools for the people who run everything themselves — the contractor doing their own books at 11pm, the creator who is also their own editor, scheduler and publisher.

Available nowA receipt scanner for self-employed people in the US. Photograph a paper receipt; the merchant, date and total are read on the device itself and filed under an IRS Schedule C category. Export a tax-ready CSV or PDF when it is time to file. No bank login, and the receipt images never leave the phone.
Built by our founder and published under his own name on the App Store.
A publishing tool for independent creators
In developmentOne place to upload a video once, write the title, description and tags each platform actually wants, and schedule it. Built around the thing every competitor gets wrong: when a platform rejects a post, you are told what happened and why, instead of finding out days later that nothing went out.

How we work
Few things, kept running
A studio of one can ship a small number of products and maintain them properly, or a large number and let them rot. We would rather you be able to rely on the thing you already bought.
Paid for by the people using it
Our software is funded by its customers. No advertising, no selling data about the people who use it, and no third business model hiding behind the first two.
Honest about failure
Software fails. The difference between tolerable and infuriating is whether it tells you. We show the real error, and what to do next.
